Hiking & Nature Play...for adults!
Join us for a fun morning hike in San Diego! We’ll meet at a local coffee shop near the hiking trail to start the day, then hike a bit, play a bit, and learn a bit!
Hike: Tecolote Canyon - details will be sent to you once you register. The hike will be approximately 3 miles and moderate intensity.
Play: Don’t worry, I’m not asking you to make a fool out of yourself in front of a group of people 😄 Nature play looks like building fairy houses, creating nature mandalas, building sand castles, coloring, painting…you get the gist.
Learn: Each event will have a topic theme, like native plant identification or seasonal blooms, and a cleanup or restoration component so that we can take care of nature while we enjoy it 🌱

Summer Virtual Retreat
Join us in celebrating summer! Our virtual retreats are intended to provide an opportunity for you to reconnect with yourself, nature, and the Practically Eco community, from wherever you are! We will create (virtual) space for you to recharge and rejuvenate through engaging activities like a guided meditation, interactive cooking demo, wildcrafted self-care tutorial, journal prompts, and small group discussions. We want to host incredible retreats that allow participants to reconnect with themselves and nature, in the most fun way possible! Ideally, these retreats would include ways we can actively give back while we are enjoying nature and the surrounding communities, time to rest, reflect, hike, eat, connect IRL, plus provide a profound reset that goes home with you.
